Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic Litigation Team in Boca Raton, FL. The attorney will handle a caseload of personal injury and property damage cases, focusing on litigation from pre-suit to trial. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants and participate in numerous jury trials throughout Florida each year.

Location:

• Boca Raton, FL

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of 35-40 personal injury and property damage litigation cases.
• Represent clients through all stages of litigation, from case preparation to settlement or trial.
• Prepare for and participate in numerous jury trials annually.
• Conduct motion practice, fact and expert witness depositions, and general discovery.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure case progression.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Attend seminars and workshops to continually improve trial skills.
• Work closely with the firm’s Litigation Team and support staff.

Requirements:

• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Trial experience required, including experience as First Chair during trials.
• Strong background in general litigation and motion practice.
• Experience with depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual proficiency (preferred).
• Experience with SmartAdvocate® (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle a heavy caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
