The successful candidate will manage high-stakes litigation in both state and federal courts and will have a proven track record of successfully navigating the commercial litigation process from inception to resolution.

Duties:

• Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from initial consultation through pre-trial, trial, and appeals.
• Draft legal documents, manage discovery, and lead negotiations for settlements and alternative dispute resolution.
• Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide timely updates to clients.
• Mentored and guided junior attorneys, assisting with case preparation and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to formulate litigation strategies for complex cases.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, focusing on both service excellence and business development.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Florida; additional state bar admissions are a plus.
• At least 10 years of hands-on litigation experience, particularly in commercial matters.
• Strong understanding of Florida commercial procedures and substantive law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including legal writing and analysis.
• Demonstrated success in handling complex commercial litigation cases.
• Experience mentoring and managing junior attorneys is highly valued.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Additional Bar admissions may be beneficial.
