Job Overview: A law firm in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Associate Attorney with 6-8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary documents, managing deal processes and client relationships, and supervising junior associates.

Duties:

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage the deal process from inception to closing, ensuring smooth transactions for clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on complex legal matters.
  • Handle day-to-day demands on a variety of mergers and acquisitions related matters.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of maturity and business sense.
  • Experience managing internal and external client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
