Job Overview:
A respected regional real estate firm is seeking a North Carolina licensed attorney to handle real estate closings at the Belmont, NC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the closing process, excellent customer service skills, and experience in reviewing title searches, trusts, estates, and corporate documents. This role offers the opportunity to join a supportive team, with travel required to the Hickory, NC office occasionally.

Location:

  • Belmont, NC

Duties:

  • Conduct real estate closing ceremonies with clients
  • Examine title searches and review recorded documents
  • Review trusts, estates, and corporate documents
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the closing process
  • Collaborate with the team at the headquarters in Charlotte, NC for support and guidance
  • Ensure all necessary documents are prepared and signed during closings
  • Handle any issues that arise during the closing process efficiently and professionally

Requirements:

  • Active North Carolina Bar License
  • 1+ years of experience in Real Estate Law (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of the real estate closing process for North Carolina
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to Hickory, NC as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active North Carolina Bar Admission (Required)

Skills:

  • Knowledge of real estate closing process
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
