Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview
A well-established litigation firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. This full-time, in-person position will involve managing a variety of civil litigation matters, providing legal counsel, conducting legal research, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in civil litigation and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties

• Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from start to finish.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
• Assist senior attorneys in trial preparation and case management.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation (preferred).
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Ohio State Bar License (required).
