Austin office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience in general litigation. The candidate will provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis in pleadings, memoranda, and other written documents. Will draft pleadings and other case documents. Attend hearings, manage matters from commencement to final resolution, and competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys. Knowledge of federal and state court practice and experience preparing answers, motions, and other routine filings are essential. Experience handling hearings and depositions; and significant case management experience needed. Should have familiarity with and ability to prepare basic and complex litigation documents; and familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules and practices. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas.

The candidate should have strong writing and oral communication skills. Juris Doctor degree essential. Must have the ability to learn new substantive legal topics as needed. Should have ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines essential. Strong organization and matter management skills needed. Ability to work professionally and effectively with Clients, Partners, Associate and Support Staff essential. Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team needed.
