The successful candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and a desire to appear in court. Key Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution, including handling discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and develop arguments.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to devise and implement effective case strategies.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and strategic planning meetings.
  • Stay current with legal developments and trends relevant to cases.
  • Maintain thorough and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
  • A strong desire and capability to appear in court and handle diverse litigation matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Kentucky State Bar Association.
