Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in class action defense and complex commercial litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, and strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality legal deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Provide accurate and timely work products while meeting deadlines and firm expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external parties.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and practices, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as required.
  • Perform all assigned duties, tasks, or projects with diligence and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience managing a multi-matter docket and handling class action defense.
  • Strong background in complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation.
  • Previous federal clerkship experience preferred.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar required.
