Duties:

  • Advise clients on commercial real estate finance, specifically CMBS/balance sheet financing.
  • Manage and service CMBS/balance sheet loans, including asset management.
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents related to commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and provide insightful counsel on matters involving commercial real estate finance.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff across multiple offices on complex legal issues.
  • Support clients in various markets across the firm’s multiple office locations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
  • Strong background in CMBS/balance sheet financing.
  • Proven experience in managing and servicing CMBS/balance sheet loans.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and team members in a fast-paced legal environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Certifications:

  • Licensed attorney in good standing with a U.S. State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
