A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join their growing team in San Jose, CA. Duties:

• Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of CP/Waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa.
• Prepare clients for consulate interviews and guide them through the immigration process.
• Represent clients before USCIS and handle all related legal proceedings.
• Review immigration applications and ensure the accuracy of prepared packets.
• Supervise a team of paralegals to ensure productivity and maintain client satisfaction.
• Analyze cases to identify any potential benefits or areas for further legal action.
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in immigration law.
• Licensed to practice law in California (CA Bar admission).
• Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently and move legal cases forward.
• Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, detained clients, citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Familiarity with consular processing applications and waivers.
• Experience with case management software is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a keen ability to manage multiple cases.
