A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with broad-based commercial real estate and transactional experience to work directly with partners and sophisticated clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and other real estate transactions.

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and secured lending transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents such as purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and coordinate closings.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex transactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • 3-4 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and transactional practices.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Team player with a proactive and client-focused approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with real estate development projects and joint ventures.
  • Background in secured lending transactions and commercial contracts.
