Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This role requires a dedicated and proactive individual with a strong litigation background to provide exceptional legal representation and contribute to the firm’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Georgia and possess extensive experience in handling complex litigation matters.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring thorough risk assessments and strategic planning.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with team members on case preparation and execution.
• Prepare, review, and revise legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Represent clients in court, at hearings, and in settlement negotiations.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring regular updates on case progress and providing high-quality customer service.
• Keep abreast of developments in relevant laws and legal procedures to ensure effective representation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in litigation.
• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
• Proven experience handling a wide range of litigation matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia.

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation strategy and case management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and staff.
