Attorney with experience in state litigation

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a licensed Attorney with experience in state litigation to lead a litigation team specializing in representing debtors in collection cases.

Duties:

• Represent debtors in collection cases through all phases of litigation.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients facing debtor/creditor disputes.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and argue motions in court.
• Manage and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff working on litigation cases.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with significant exposure to state litigation.
• Proven track record in handling debtor/creditor cases and litigation matters.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures related to debt collection and creditor rights.

Certifications:

• State Bar admission in Virginia.
