Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney

Denver office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a medical malpractice litigation attorney with 5+ years of associate or counsel-level experience in a law firm setting. The candidate will manage the day-to-day development of the record for trial in high-exposure medical malpractice and tort cases, including employment-adjacent claims against healthcare providers. Will have a heavy emphasis on planning for and executing case development strategy, including taking and defending fact and expert depositions and preparing witnesses for testimony. Source and develop expert witnesses. Independently identify and develop discovery and trial strategies and themes. Draft and deliver polished, file-ready motions and briefs of significance, and argue them to the court as necessary. Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation and trial strategies, including how best to approach complex or difficult issues. Must be Admitted, or has a path to admission, to practice in the State of Colorado.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to interact effectively with a broad range of staff and Strong case management abilities and knowledge of the full life cycle of civil litigation. The ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner, and respond appropriately to shifting demands is required. The ability to research, analyze, and handle complex and novel legal and factual issues is needed. Must have the ability to use initiative and judgment to accomplish results. Should have the ability to work independently but be able to escalate and communicate issues in a timely and effective manner.
