A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Business, Construction, and Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join its dynamic Business Transactions practice group in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience handling business and real estate transactions, with a focus on drafting and negotiating various corporate governance documents, transactional agreements, and construction contracts. The position requires a high level of legal expertise, as well as strong communication and leadership skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney with experience working with closely held businesses and a strong network in the Phoenix area.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate business and real estate transactional documents, including corporate governance materials, leases, licensing contracts, and employment agreements
  • Provide legal counsel on construction agreements and other real estate-related contracts
  • Advise clients on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of transaction-related documents and assist in deal closings
  • Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving disputes related to construction projects and real estate transactions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive legal support to clients
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Foster strong client relationships by providing responsive and thoughtful legal advice
  • Actively contribute to business development initiatives and expanding the firm's client base

Requirements:

  • 2 to 7 years of experience in business, construction, and real estate transactions
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating a variety of transactional agreements, including corporate governance documents, leases, and construction contracts
  • Strong understanding of construction law, real estate transactions, and business law
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with closely held businesses is preferred
  • Established ties to the Phoenix area is a plus
  • Active membership in the State Bar of Arizona and in good standing

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Arizona
