A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team in Murfreesboro, TN. This full-time position is ideal for a legal professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in litigation and transactional matters, looking to develop their skills while working alongside seasoned attorneys in a supportive environment.

Duties

  • Assist in handling litigation and transactional cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court and during negotiations, advocating effectively on their behalf.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive client representation.
  • Manage client communications to keep them informed and engaged throughout the legal process.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in litigation and/or transactional law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Tennessee Bar License is required.
