A law firm seeks a skilled Mid- to Senior-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience to join its remote litigation team. The ideal candidate will independently manage cases from start to finish, with a focus on representing financial advisors and broker-dealers in FINRA arbitration claims. Duties:

  • Independently handle litigation cases with minimal supervision.
  • Represent clients in FINRA arbitration claims and related regulatory matters.
  • Manage general litigation in various courts as needed.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with a remote team of attorneys and staff.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception through resolution with minimal oversight.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Stable work history (no more than two employers in the last five years and no gaps in employment).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (Bar admission required).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
  • Experience with FINRA arbitration and financial litigation is a plus.
