Immigration Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Richardson, TX, is seeking a skilled Immigration Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in immigration matters, prepare and draft legal documents, and provide expert advice on business and legal transactions. Duties:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies in immigration-related matters.
• Prepare and draft legal documents for clients, including petitions, applications, and affidavits.
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions related to immigration, including visa applications and residency issues.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes involving immigration matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations in immigration law.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to immigration law, including case management and client communication.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience in immigration law preferred.
• Familiarity with various immigration-related legal documents and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
