Litigation Associate

Duties

• Manage a variety of litigation cases from initiation through to resolution.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, including taking depositions, arguing motions, and handling other court proceedings.
• Work closely with senior attorneys on complex cases, gaining valuable mentorship and experience.
• Handle multiple cases and deadlines, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Provide timely updates to clients and offer strategic advice in complex legal matters.
• Maintain a proactive approach to case management, demonstrating attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience with a strong emphasis on research, writing, and case management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases with competing deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to delivering exceptional client service.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle complex legal issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar (required).
