A law firm seeks a skilled Probate Associate Attorney with a passion for guiding clients through estate administration and probate processes. This role involves working directly with clients, particularly elderly individuals and their families, to assist in estate settlement and asset distribution. The position is based in a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong focus on client care.

Duties

  • Guide clients through probate proceedings, including filing documents, resolving claims, and asset distribution.
  • Provide full estate administration services to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Offer counsel on estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Work closely with colleagues and support staff to deliver tailored, client-focused solutions.
  • Represent clients in probate court, including contested cases, as necessary.
  • Stay updated on probate law changes and integrate best practices into client service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in probate and estate administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work compassionately with elderly clients and their families.
  • Excellent legal knowledge in wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
