The ideal candidate will provide high-quality legal and consulting services to higher educational institutions nationwide, specializing in areas such as Title IX, faculty employment, student and academic affairs, and athletics.

Job Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and consulting services to higher educational institutions.
• Specialize in areas such as Title IX, faculty employment, student and academic affairs, and athletics.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on higher education law matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop strategies and solutions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in higher education law.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of general litigation experience with a focus on Higher Education.
• Strong desire to learn and specialize in the Higher Education practice area.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed in North Carolina or ability to become immediately licensed.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
