Job Title: Eviction Attorney

Job Overview: This position seeks an Eviction Attorney for a multi-state law firm based in Orem, UT. The role primarily involves managing and overseeing eviction cases, providing legal guidance, and representing clients in court. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented legal professionals with strong research, client relations, and advocacy skills. The attorney must be a member of the California State Bar, though remote work is an option.

Duties:

• Manage and facilitate an eviction caseload, including conducting research and providing legal guidance.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Represent clients in court hearings, with prior courtroom experience preferred.
• Stay updated on eviction law changes and trends nationwide.
• Educate clients on updates and trends in eviction laws.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• An active member of the California State Bar, with all required continuing education and licensing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing law; eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title experience preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• California State Bar Membership; additional state Bar licenses are a plus.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in legal research and analytical skills.
• Advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects using case management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
