Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join its Workers' Compensation practice group. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from one of several Pennsylvania offices. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in legal research, writing, and litigation, and will play a key role in representing clients in workers' compensation cases.

Location:

  • Valley Forge, PA

Duties:

  • Review and analyze workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and draft client correspondence, discovery materials, and legal briefs.
  • Represent clients in depositions and hearings before the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Board.
  • Prepare for trial, including witness retention and evaluation.
  • Draft appeals and appellate briefs as necessary.
  • Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally in workers' compensation law.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (admission to additional states is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Strong client service orientation and the ability to respond promptly to communications.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar is required.
