A law firm seeks a skilled and passionate Litigation Attorney to join its team in Ladera Ranch, CA. Duties:

  • Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including environmental toxic torts, personal injury, product liability, insurance coverage, and wrongful death.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, from case evaluation to trial preparation and resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, and participate in hearings and depositions.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in court and before other legal bodies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships, offering guidance throughout the litigation process.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and pursue favorable resolutions for clients when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in personal injury, toxic torts, or a related field.
  • Experience in handling complex cases, including product liability, environmental law, and insurance coverage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess case merits and formulate effective strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present cases clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage a demanding caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

  • Experience in complex litigation, particularly in toxic torts, environmental law, and personal injury cases.
  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong courtroom skills with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
