Duties:

• Represent clients in court, including trial and pre-trial hearings, law and motion practice
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, legal documents, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation
• Prepare and organize trial materials such as exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy
• Prepare discovery documents, subpoenas, and responses
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with state and federal procedures
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness interviews and preparing evidence
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case status

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• 1+ years of litigation experience
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Bachelor’s degree

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California (must be in good standing with the California State Bar)
