The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in litigation or collections and be comfortable managing a busy caseload with precision and efficiency.

Duties:

  • Handle litigation cases within the Florida jurisdiction, including conducting hearings.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys, providing leadership and support.
  • Develop strategies to efficiently resolve cases, monitoring progress closely.
  • Review all necessary documentation, including financials, notices, and demand letters, before initiating legal action.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and correspondence to begin legal proceedings.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with case findings, recommendations, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections.
  • Manage contested matters, including discovery and trial preparation.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of litigation or collections experience.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Bar membership in Florida is required.
  • Additional Bar memberships (Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania) are a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar membership in Florida is required.
  • Additional Bar memberships in other states (Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze and offer solutions for corrective actions in litigation matters.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload.
