Complex Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to support their complex business litigation practice. The ideal candidate should have strong academic and professional credentials, excellent analytical, legal research, writing, and communication skills. The ability to work directly and effectively with clients is essential. Experience in deposition and motion practice is a plus.

Job Details:

Duties:

• Manage and oversee all phases of complex litigation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Assist in case strategy development and litigation planning.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Review and organize case documents and evidence for discovery.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure the highest quality of legal representation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and strategy.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 3-4 years of experience in complex business litigation.
• Strong academic record and professional credentials.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with clients and develop client relationships.
• Experience with deposition and motion practice preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
