A law firm seeks a Real Estate/Transactional Associate Attorney to join its commercial real estate and business transactional practice in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and corporate M&A transactions, along with strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. This position provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment while building a transaction-based practice.

Duties:

  • Assist in handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and financings.
  • Participate in corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), drafting and reviewing transaction-related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients on various business transactions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys on complex commercial real estate and corporate matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, business transactions, or corporate M&A.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to build a transaction-based practice in real estate and corporate law.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

Skills:

  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client relationship management and interpersonal communication skills.
