Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice group is seeking an experienced mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Fund Finance team. This role is designed for attorneys with 4-6 years of transactional legal experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in finance law.

Duties

  • Handle various fund finance transactions within the Finance & Restructuring team.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review complex finance-related agreements and legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support transactional strategies and client advisement.
  • Provide clients with consistent communication, updates, and strategic guidance on fund finance matters.
  • Ensure all transactions align with legal standards and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in transactional law; finance law experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials with demonstrated skills in research and analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the candidate’s state of residence.

  • Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing finance-related transactional documents.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
