Attorney needed for Staten Island office

A law firm in Staten Island, NY is seeking a motivated Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload and providing legal counsel across various practice areas.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Manage a caseload independently from inception to resolution.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on legal matters to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings as required.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Experience practicing law, preferably in civil litigation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
