Commercial Litigation Associate

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Take and defend depositions to develop case strategy and evaluate witness credibility.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and pre-trial motions (courtroom experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to manage cases efficiently and achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial litigation, including handling discovery, depositions, and drafting pleadings.
• Strong legal analysis, writing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
