Duties and Responsibilities

• Litigate first and third-party claims concerning multiple lines of insurance coverage
• Handle bad faith claims litigation
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend court conferences
• Draft and argue motions
• Conduct thorough legal research
• Prepare and file legal documents
• Represent clients in court and during negotiations
• Provide legal advice and strategies to clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation

Requirements

• 4-6 years of significant insurance coverage experience
• Experience litigating first and third-party claims
• Experience with bad faith claims
• Deposition experience
• Trial experience preferred
• Strong research and writing skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Active membership in the Texas Bar

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
