A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a dedicated and experienced Pre-Suit Personal Injury Attorney. The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload, gather necessary documents and evidence, negotiate settlements, and maintain regular communication with clients. Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather necessary documents, evidence, and other relevant information related to personal injury claims.
• Negotiate settlement offers with insurance providers.
• Effectively manage a full caseload.
• Oversee and manage a dedicated full-time legal assistant.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, including opening new files and making initial contact.
• Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.
• Enter pertinent information into the ATO database.
• Verify insurance coverage and liability issues and maintain contact with insurance companies.
• Manage clients' medical care, constantly communicating with clients and medical providers.
• Schedule and calendar medical appointments and explain procedures and documentation to clients.
• Continuously monitor case status and review medical records.
• Organize and maintain case files, preparing files to be submitted to demand writers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing a heavy personal injury caseload.
• Active member of the Florida Bar Association in good standing.
• Ability to organize and manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact and empathize with clients during their time of need.
• Determination and drive to achieve the best client results and win cases.
• Eager to approach all tasks with passion and pride.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Consistent record of attendance, reliability, and integrity.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Education and Certifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar Association.
