Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong legal research and writing skills, preferably with experience in litigating corporate and commercial matters. They must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with teammates of all levels. Excellent academic credentials and exceptional writing and communication skills are essential. Admission to the State Bar is preferred.

Duties:
• Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memos.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case strategies and tactics.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial personnel.

Requirements:
• 8 years of experience in commercial litigation.
