A law firm seeks a passionate, dependable, and charismatic Experienced Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Vista, CA. The firm is committed to delivering the highest quality legal services and proudly represents clients through various stages of immigration, including all aspects of removal proceedings.

Duties

  • Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
  • Manage and process USCIS Asylum Petitions and Family Based Petitions
  • Conduct Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews
  • Prepare and submit work permit applications
  • Handle master and individual appearances in immigration court
  • Draft and file legal documents in compliance with immigration laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective case strategies
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and support

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to practice law in California
  • 1-6 years of experience in immigration law, particularly with USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
  • Proven experience in handling master and individual appearances

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California
