Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Entry-Level Case Building Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will assist in consumer financial representation, specifically in bankruptcy cases, and will be responsible for managing client documentation and communications. Location:

  • San Antonio, TX

Duties:

  • Prepare and file legal documentation following established procedures
  • Communicate legal details clearly and professionally with clients via email, text, and calls
  • Research, retrieve, and update information in clients' case files
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Schedule and manage hearings and resolutions
  • Draft and file responses through the Electronic Case Filing (ECF) system
  • Attend virtual and in-person client meetings, fact-finding interviews, and court hearings as needed

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD)
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • Entry-level or experienced attorney; bankruptcy experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Proficient with technology and case management software
  • Strong conflict resolution and client communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:

  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in legal research and document preparation
