Duties

• Provide legal counsel to clients by evaluating available options and formulating a plan of action.
• Prepare necessary legal documents, including briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Analyze client needs and develop tailored case strategies.
• Supervise and manage administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks.
• Oversee tracking of time records, billing, client meetings, and project completion.
• Manage case docket and handle pre-litigation and litigation files proactively.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, trial preparations, trials, and hearings.
• Handle motions and discovery processes.
• Negotiate with opposing attorneys, including insurance adjusters.
• Draft motions, petitions, and other legal documents as needed.
• Report regularly on case pipeline and key performance indicators.
• Uphold the firm’s mission and values through all legal operations.

Requirements

• Strong leadership abilities and the capability to mentor junior staff.
• Previous litigation and trial experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and legal writing skills.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Education

• J.D. (Juris Doctorate) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
