Bellaire office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an attorney with some experience. The candidate will do case development and fact investigation. Analyze complex legal issues and formulate strategy. Case evaluation and comprehensive client reporting. Write motions, pleadings, written discovery requests and responses. Write administrative charges (EEOC, TWC). Draft discovery that makes the other side sweat. Review discovery responses and document production. Prepare for and attend hearings. Take depositions of parties, key witnesses, corporate representatives and designated experts. Assist in trial preparation and attend trials. Manage cases, meet deadlines, and shift priorities depending on the needs of the firm. Maintain a detailed record of billable hours. Must be licensed to practice in Texas. Fluent written and spoken Spanish is a significant plus.

The candidate must have a J.D. from an accredited law school. Must be focused and analytically minded. Must be detail-oriented, self-driven, and highly motivated. Must possess strong research and writing skills. Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent time management and organizational skills. Must have strong organizational, oral/written communication, critical thinking, and time management abilities. Must be technology proficient, including Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to type moderately fast without excessive mistakes. Must be deadline-aware and detail-oriented.
