Senior Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York is seeking a Senior Structured Finance Associate with over 6 years of experience to join its Capital Markets practice. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in areas such as Repo, Asset-Backed Lending, Loan on Loan, securitization, structured finance, structured products, and corporate or real estate transactions. Experience in CRE CLO is a plus but not required. This role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Duties:

• Advise clients on structured finance transactions, including Repo, Asset-Backed Lending, and securitization.
• Handle Loan on Loan transactions and other structured products.
• Assist with corporate and real estate-related capital markets matters.
• Draft and negotiate complex transactional documents.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on structured finance strategies and risks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal teams to manage deals from inception to closing.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and capital markets.
• Experience in Repo, Asset-Backed Lending, and structured products.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple high-level transactions simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials are required.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission).
