Duties

  • Manage pre-litigation matters and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Handle single-plaintiff employment disputes, systemic discrimination cases, and wage/hour class actions, including Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) cases.
  • Respond to administrative charges and regulatory inquiries.
  • Counsel clients on a variety of employment law issues, including workplace policies and risk management.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration settings.
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare motions, and argue cases in court.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop creative solutions for client matters.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar environment.
  • Strong expertise in employment law, particularly litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases with a high level of responsibility.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California, in good standing.
