Mid-level Business Litigation Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-level Business Litigation Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in commercial business litigation. The ideal candidate will handle depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and managing electronic discovery. They must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong academic record.

Duties:

• Handle depositions on behalf of clients.
• Conduct motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Represent clients in court appearances and hearings.
• Manage electronic discovery processes and document review.
• Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff on case strategy and execution.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare for and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 4-7 years of experience in commercial business litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
