Criminal Defense Attorney

A well-established criminal defense law firm in Arizona is seeking a full-time Criminal Defense Attorney to represent clients in misdemeanor and felony cases statewide. Location:

Duties:

• Request discovery and conduct case investigations.
• Interview police officers, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
• File and argue pretrial motions.
• Handle misdemeanor and felony trials.
• Work closely with investigators to develop case strategies.
• Attend court appearances in superior, justice, and city courts.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal procedures and case progress.
• Conduct in-office and telephonic consultations.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Experience handling misdemeanor and felony cases is preferred.
• Strong litigation and trial experience or willingness to develop courtroom skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume practice with attention to detail.
• Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
