Duties

  • Manage complex litigation cases, including individual and class action lawsuits.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Participate in depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients in trials.
  • Consult with experts and conduct fact investigations to support case strategies.
  • Operate autonomously in managing caseloads and contribute to team-led litigation efforts.
  • Support clients by delivering high-quality legal counsel with professionalism and empathy.

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina Bar License.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting litigation documents.
  • Previous experience with all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to manage cases independently and participate effectively within a trial team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
