Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Represent the firm's clients in various litigation matters, including real estate, telecommunications, corporate, and general commercial litigation.
• Prepare and respond to discovery; conduct document review, including eDiscovery.
• Draft motions, briefs, and pleadings in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research (Westlaw) and prepare related memoranda.
• Attend and conduct depositions.
• Attend court hearings both in person and remotely.
• Work with staff to organize and manage all case-related documents.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience is required; commercial or real estate litigation experience is preferred.
• Prior courtroom experience is preferred.
• Experience with eDiscovery software (Logikcull, Relativity, DISCO) is preferred.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• A self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.
• Ability to multi-task; adaptability.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion or reciprocity.
