A law firm seeks a committed and detail-oriented Family Law Attorney to join its legal team based in Forest Lake, MN. Duties

  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage complex cases and provide litigation support.
  • Represent clients in related practice areas such as criminal defense, estate planning, and debt collection, as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota bar license with at least 2 years of legal experience.
  • Proven experience in family law, including drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and courtroom representation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to pursue licensure in Wisconsin.
  • Experience in criminal defense, estate planning, or debt collection is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in Minnesota (required).
  • Wisconsin bar license (preferred or willingness to obtain).
