Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, specializing in energy transition finance matters, is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized transactions in the energy transition space, including novel financing deals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters, including handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
  • Experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
  • Admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
