Duties:

  • Practice immigration law, including conducting both virtual and in-person consultations
  • Manage green card interviews and assist clients throughout the immigration process
  • Attend both virtual and in-person court appearances
  • Review and edit client applications completed by paralegals
  • Collaborate with partners and support staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Provide high-quality customer service to clients
  • Maintain a 1350-hour billable requirement per year

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to the Illinois State Bar
  • 0-5 years of legal experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate well with legal support staff
  • Strong courtroom presence
  • Ability to perform standard office tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 pounds

Bonus Experience:

  • Immigration law experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience in traffic or criminal law
  • Federally licensed
