A well-established law firm located in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Trial Attorney with a minimum of 10 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have first-chair trial experience and will manage cases from inception to resolution, in a supportive and dynamic team environment. Duties:

• Serve as lead counsel in trials, managing all aspects of litigation
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery and depositions
• Draft and respond to complaints, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct depositions, attend mediations, hearings, and oral arguments
• Maintain direct communication with clients throughout the litigation process
• Handle post-litigation matters, including judgment enforcement
• Meet with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and case resolutions

Requirements:

• Active and good-standing license to practice law in California
• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with a focus on first-chair trial work
• Expertise in California state laws and legal procedures
• Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish
• Exceptional negotiation and strategic thinking abilities
• Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License
