Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering, computer science, software, and related fields
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective patent strategies and understand their inventions
  • Provide counsel on patentability assessments and patent portfolio management
  • Represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
  • Maintain a client-focused, team-oriented approach in all aspects of patent work

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
  • Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience in drafting and prosecuting AI and machine learning patents preferred
  • Admission to practice before the USPTO required
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and client-focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:
