Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney for its New York City office.

Job Overview:

• Serve as a key member of the debt finance team, specializing in private equity transactions.
• Manage complex transactions and provide legal counsel on debt finance matters.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to ensure efficient and successful deal execution.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate debt financing agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct due diligence and research on financing structures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Provide strategic advice and risk assessment to clients regarding debt financing options.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless transaction execution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity debt finance transactions, preferably on the lender side.
• Familiarity with market terms and industry standards in debt financing.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and transactional law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar (or willingness to become admitted).
